The magnetic circuit shown in the figure below has a solid iron cross section, 1cm×1cm. Each air gap is 1mm long. For this type of air gap, the effective cross-sectional area of the air gap may be taken as 1.2× that of iron path to allow for fringing. Two different grades of iron are used in sections A and B. When a coil having 1000 turns is wound on part B, and a current of 0.5A is passed through it, the relative permeability of part A is measured as 80000 , and of part B as 1000000 . For a current of 0.5A, calculate: a) the reluctance of part A, b) the reluctance of part B, c) the total reluctance of the air gaps, d) the mmf, e) the total flux \& f) the flux density in the iron sections.
