The figure below is a profile of two columns supporting a horizontal beam. The beam supports a force F of 100 kips (1 kip = \( 1000 \mathrm{lbs} \).) acting at point \( \mathrm{C} \). The following measurements are horizontal. Point \( \mathrm{C} \) is \( 30 \mathrm{ft} \) from point \( \mathrm{A} \). Point \( \mathrm{B} \) is 10 ft. from point \( C \) for a total 40 ft from \( A \) to \( B \). Forces are all vertical. You need to use the static equilibrium equations to solve for reactant forces RA and RB. Using the sum of moments equation at point \( A \) to start is easiest. Do not forget to use units and to call out your answers. You may work in groups but need to turn in your own work.
