Learning Objectives: 1. To calculate the reactions at the supports 2. To draw the Shear force diagram 3. To draw the Bending moment diagram 4. To extract useful information from the diagrams Experiment: A beam is loaded as demonstrated. You are required to do the following: 1. Verify the values of the measured reactions; 2. Draw the \( \mathrm{SF} \) and \( \mathrm{BM} \) for the \( \mathbf{4} \mathbf{t h} \) loading and determine the maximum and minimum bending moment. Comment on the results obtained and include possible sources of errors.
Note: All distances are taken from the left end of the beam
