Problem 1 Crossflow over a cylinder Cold water flows through an outer surface of a pipe as shown below. Pipe: length \\( =1 \\mathrm{~m} \\), outer diameter \\( =5 \\mathrm{~cm} \\), inner diameter \\( =0.5 \\mathrm{~cm} \\) Hot water inside the pipe: velocity \\( =1 \\mathrm{~m} / \\mathrm{s} \\), mean temperature inside the pipe \\( =90^{\\circ} \\mathrm{C} \\) Cold water: temperature \\( =12^{\\circ} \\mathrm{C} \\), velocity \\( =10 \\mathrm{~m} / \\mathrm{s} \\) Consider only the outside heat transfer, the surface temperature of the pipe is assumed to be \\( 90^{\\circ} \\mathrm{C} \\). Determine the overall heat flow (Q). Use Zukauskas correlation and Churchill-Bernstein correlation, and then compare the answers obtained from both correlations.
