In this experiment, 4 different organisms (A, B, C and D) were streaked on two nutrient agar plates and incubated at different oxygen conditions. One plate was incubated aerobically (on the countertop) and 1 plate incubated anaerobically in a sealed Gas-pack jar. Read the results below and answer questions. 1. FTM is a liquid medium that supports growth of organisms of varying oxygen tolerance. Oxygen is abundant on the surface of the tube and diffuses into the media producing a gradient of decreasing oxygen concentration (so more surface of the liquid medium and less as you move to the bottom of tube). Four fresh FTM tubes are given to you. You are also given plates of the above organisms(A-D) from question 1 . If the organisms were inoculated into the FTM tubes (one organism per FTM tube), illustrate their growth pattern after incubation. You may draw a box to indicate where the organism grows within the tube. (The tubes labels below correspond with the organisms A-D. For ex. tube \( A \) is inoculated with organism A.)
