Consider an ideal refrigeration cycle, driven by
heat, with two circuits, which uses R-134a as fluid

turbine to condenser pressure. steam
saturated at -15 C leaves the evaporator and is compressed
at condenser pressure. The relationship of the flows
through the two circuits is such that the turbine
produces just enough power to move the
compressor. The two output streams are mixed and
they enter the condenser. The saturated liquid leaving the
capacitor at 45 C separates into two streams at
the necessary proportions. Determine;
a) the ratio of the mass flow rate through the
power circuit to the power circuit
refrigeration.
b) the performance of the cycle in terms of the ratio
QL/QH
