A simply supported beam is carrying a triangular load as shown in Fig Q1. The load has a maximum intensity of \( 10 \mathrm{kN} / \mathrm{m} \) at the mid-span and it decreases linearly to zero at the ends. Draw the shear force and bending moment diagrams for the beam giving general expressions for shear force and bending moment for at least half of the beam. Also state the magnitudes and locations of the maximum shear force and maximum bending moment.
