3. Voltage Controlled Current Source Figure 6: A simple resistive circuit with voltage controlled current source 3.1 Theoretical Calculation [3 Marks] Consider the circuit shown in Fig. 6. Assume \( k=2 \). Solve the circuit for the current through all the resistors and node voltages \( V_{x}, V_{y}, V_{z} \), and voltage \( V_{a b} \). (Hint: use the node-voltage method). Record the results in Section 3 of the Lab Report. 3.2 LTSPICE Simulation [1 Mark] The LTSPICE schematic for this part is provided. Load the schematic file by selecting File, then Open, and then Clab2-Task3.asc. Now click Open. Study the settings of the Voltage Controlled Current Source (VCCS) in the schematic: (a) Note: This step requires no action and is only included to show to students how to locate the Voltage Controlled Current Source (VCCS) in LTSPICE. To import VCCS into the schematic, from the toolbar, select Edit, then Component. A Select Component Symbol tab will appear. In the search bar, enter ' \( G \) ' and click OK. From the toolbar, select File, then Save to save the schematic. Simulate the circuit and record the results obtained from LTSPICE in Section \( \mathbf{3} \) of the Lab Report. [Remote Students Only] Include a screenshot, with DC bias voltages and currents showing on your schematic (i.e. Enable Bias Voltage Display and Enable Bias Current Display before taking a screenshot).
