(Solved): 3. Requirements- Machines make it from simulink The parameters of the equivalent circuit of a 150kV ...

3. Requirements- Machines make it from simulink The parameters of the equivalent circuit of a

150kVA,2,(400)/(240)V(50Hz)

transformer are:

R_(P)=0.2\Omega R_(S)=2m\Omega R_(C)=10k\Omega x_(P)=0.45\Omega x_(S)=4.5m\Omega x_(m)=1.55k\Omega

The transformer is connected to a load with a power factor of 0.8 . From the power factor, output power and output voltage values, determine the output current, and hence model the load based on a series resistor and inductor. You should check that the values are correct by simulating the load. Measure the power in the resistive part of the load and comment on this result. Use this result to determine the efficiency of system. Determine the turns ratio of the transformer and implement a model of the full transformer including the 'loss' components above. Perform an open circuit test on the transformer. Perform a short circuit test, remembering that you should adjust the supply voltage to ensure that the short circuit current in the secondary is as calculated in part 1. Reconnect the load and measure the power in the resistive part with the transformer connected- comment on any changes in this compared to part 1 , and what this suggests about the additional losses in the transformer. The question is how do we insert those transformer values to the transformer for the normal transformer units how to convert it base don the parameters above? where to look at for determiningoutput current and model of load based on a series resistor and inductor? How to check the values are correct during simulation please highlight it, the loss component. How to make it open and short citcuit and ehats the simulink circuit before that? 3. 150kVA,(2400)/(240)V(50Hz)

transformer are:

R_(P)=0.2\Omega R_(S)=2m\Omega R_(C)=10k\Omega x_(P)=0.5\Omega x_(S)=5m\Omega x_(m)=1.55k\Omega

The connected to a load with a power factor of 0.8 . Based from the output power, power factor and output voltage values, how do we determine the output current, and hence model the load based on a series resistor and inductor. Double check that the values are correct by simulating the load. Also to meaure the power in the resistive part of the load and comment on this result. Use the result to showbthe efficiency of system. implement a model of the full transformer including the 'loss' components above. After that how to make it an open and short circuit? Aftet theoperation how to redo the load and measure the power in the resistive part with the transformer connected- comment on any changes in this compared to the first desfin , and what this suggests about the additional losses in the transformer. The question is how do we insert those transformer values to the transformer for the normal transformer units how to convert it base don the parameters above? where to look at for determiningoutput current and model of load based on a series resistor and inductor? How to check the values are correct during simulation please highlight it, the loss component. How to make it open and short citcuit and whats the simulink circuit before that?
