1) Draw and label a cell membrane showing the sodium-potassium ATPase, and how it will set up an Electrochemical Sodium Gradient (Apwi'). Indicate the extracellular (OUT) vs. cytoplasmic side of the membrane (IN) and the membrane potential (use \( + \) and - signs). No need to show the multi-step process. Just draw a single sodium-potassium pump. 2) and show the following transporters; in the table say what type of transport (facilitated diffusion vs. active transport) applies to each solute. Assume all solutes except sodium and potassium are initially at isomolar concentrations. a. a sodium/calcium antiport b. a sodiumhydrogen phosphate (HPO**) symport c. a chloride uniport
3) Fill in the following table for the processes of Cellular (Aerobic) Respiration, Alcohol Fermentation and Photosynthesis. For each substance, place a letter "IN" in the space(es) where the substance is an input (or reactant) of the process and place a "OUT" if the substance is an Output of the process. For example, for \( \mathrm{H}_{2} \mathrm{O} \), the substance is a output of the Electron Transport Chain and a input to the Light Reactions. Write IN/OUT or OUT/IN if it is both an input \& output of the same process.
